VML Selected As A Yahoo! Web Analytics Consultant Network Provider
October 15, 2009 -- As Yahoo! prepares to roll-out its proprietary analytics tool, Yahoo! Web Analytics (YWA), VML has been chosen to serve as one of a limited number of consultant partners. VML is honored to join the Yahoo! Web Analytics Consultant Network (“YWACN”).
Currently, Yahoo! Web Analytics is only available to customers through select channels. Yahoo! Web Analytics is a highly customizable, enterprise-level website analytics system designed to help website businesses increase sales and visitor satisfaction, and gain new insight on online customers. YWA is an enhanced version of IndexTools, a leading provider of web analytics software that Yahoo! acquired in 2008.
"Yahoo! Web Analytics is an important web analytics tool VML will now offer its client partners," said Eric Beane, Director of VML's Optimization & Analytics Group. "YWA capabilities are leaps and bounds beyond some of the more well known paid and free analytics tools available in the marketplace."
With the upcoming launch of YWA, Yahoo! opened up the application process to agencies and consultants to join its existing group of IndexTools Partners. While hundreds of companies applied to serve as official Yahoo! Web Analytics consultants, VML was selected as one of fewer than 20 authorized partners.
VML's analytics practice is one of the fastest growing disciplines at the agency. VML's Optimization & Analytics group continues to provide greater insights and marketing optimization to VML's expanding roster of respected client partners.
The Yahoo! Web Analytics Consultant Network is expected to be finalized before the end of the year.
