Two Telly Awards Received by NetApp for Dedupe Rap Video
Sunnyvale, CA, July 21, 2009 -- NetApp, (NSDQ: NTAP) announced today that its internal Social Media Team received two Bronze Telly Awards for its work in producing the NetApp Dedupe Rap video, featured on YouTube. The Telly Awards honored NetApp in two categories: Direct Marketing and Use of Music.

The production of "NetApp Battles the Competition—NetApp—Deduplication" is a rap video parody about deduplication technology that was modeled after the final rap battle scene from a famous movie. The purpose of the video was to raise awareness around NetApp® deduplication technology and increase the amount of followers to NetApp's YouTube channel, NetAppTV. Produced in close partnership with Buckle Bros. Productions, the rap video was released on YouTube in late February.
