Tribal Fusion Strengthens Regional Sales Teams, Opens Chicago Office
Company bolsters sales and executive staff in Eastern, Central, and Southern Regions to tap new growth opportunities
ATLANTA, CHICAGO, NEW YORK – October 27, 2009 – Tribal Fusion®, the digital marketing solutions company owned by Exponential Interactive, Inc.®, today announced the hiring of several new representatives in the Atlanta and New York offices, and the opening of a new office in Chicago to support growing business opportunities.
“These new staff members bring a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to help us reach a broader client base and increase our customers’ satisfaction,” said Toby Gabriner, President of Tribal Fusion. “The opening of our Chicago office will help meet the increasing demand for more robust, customized digital marketing solutions in a new market.”
New hires are in the sales and account management teams, and have a wide range of experience in the ad industry.
Atlanta
* Joe Tuttle, Sales Executive
Joe Tuttle joins Tribal Fusion as Sales Executive for the Southeast Region. Previously, Tuttle was the Regional Sales Director at AOL, managing the national team responsible for all revenues in the Southeast. He held a similar role with AOL/Platform A. Tuttle also served as a Senior Account Director at AOL, and was a two-time honoree of the President’s Club. Joe held prior positions as Director of Sales for Radio One and Vice President of Stations for Clear Channel Radio Sales.
Chicago
* Julie Ford, Sales Executive
Before coming to Tribal Fusion, Julie Ford was the Senior Advertising Sales Manager, Midwest at Real Girls Media, where she oversaw the growth of the Midwest region for the startup company. In addition to providing a proven record of sales revenue, she worked closely with that company's creative team developing custom advertising programs for clients. Before that, Ms. Ford spent eight years as a National Account Executive at Cars.com, generating new business and fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
* Amy O'Donovan, Sales Executive
Amy is responsible for overseeing key advertiser and agency relationships in the Central region. Prior to joining Tribal Fusion, Amy led an accomplished sales career with over nine years of digital sales experience at Yahoo! as an Account Executive. Most recently, Amy was responsible for managing key advertiser and agency relationships in the Central region. Amy holds a B.S. in Marketing from Miami University.
* Jason Wolf, Sales Executive
Jason Wolf has more than 12 years of experience working with hundreds of the largest e-commerce clients such as Best Buy, Staples, Dell, and Target, and agencies such as Avenue A, Starcom, OMD, and Zenith Optimedia. Mr. Wolf was most recently the Director of Display Advertising at Like.com. Before that, he spent almost nine years in various online marketing and advertising roles at Shopzilla.
New York
* Andrew Berman, Sales Executive
Starting with Tribal Fusion in August, Andrew Berman is responsible for coverage of many of New York’s leading digital agencies. He was most recently an Account Executive for BBC Worldwide, where he helped develop BBC.com’s U.S. facing advertising initiatives. Mr. Berman has also held sales positions at PointRoll, a rich media advertising provider.
* Melissa Dickman, Sales Executive
Melissa Dickman joined Tribal Fusion in July as a part of the New York sales team. Prior to Tribal Fusion, Melissa worked at AOL, Gorilla Nation and Burst Media.
* Jim Johnson, Account Manager
Jim Johnson spent four years in the US Marine Corps Reserve while attending Keene State College in New Hampshire, earning a BA in Journalism. After college, Jim moved to Boston and completed an M.S. in Advertising from Boston University, then worked as an Assistant Media Planner for Carat. Shortly thereafter, Jim was promoted to Planner and led the media planning and buying for clients such as RadioShack, Motorola, Wachovia and Christian Children’s Fund.
* Chris Litchfield, Sales Executive
Chris Litchfield is responsible for driving revenue for select New York accounts and the Boston territory, including work with Chase, Chili’s, American Express and Vonage. Litchfield was most recently a Regional Sales Manager for Forbes, a leading business media company, where he was responsible for driving integrated media sales on the west coast. Litchfield brings ten years of experience to his new role and has also held sales positions at Ziff Davis Media and IDG.
* Justin Saverine, Account Manager
Justin has been in the industry since 2005, and was most recently an Account Manager at ValueClick.
