Tribal Fusion Becomes IASH Accredited Member
Tribal Fusion successfully passes ABCe audit to become full members of the Internet Advertising Sales House Council
LONDON – 20 January, 2010 – Tribal Fusion, the digital marketing solutions company owned by Exponential Interactive, Inc., today announced it has become a fully accredited member of IASH.
The accreditation comes after a 6-month independent audit by ABCe confirmed that the ad network is in compliance with the IASH Code of Conduct.
Established in 2005 by owners of ad networks who were concerned about ad misplacement on the internet, IASH aims to police and encourage best practices among online advertising sales houses through the adoption of an effective Code of Conduct.
This Code sets out give those buying, selling or brokering internet advertising space a clear understanding of the types of inventory which can and cannot be used when fulfilling an ad insertion order. The Code also forbids IASH members to sell inventory related to hate, indecency, bombs, guns, spyware and so on. It is a symbol of trust and transparency, providing confidence and reassurance to advertisers and publishers concerned about ad misplacement on the internet.
Tribal Fusion’s membership in IASH affirms its commitment to providing brand safe environments for advertisers. “As one of the first transparent ad networks in the UK, Tribal Fusion has always been committed to brand safety, offering advertisers the option to block specific categories and monitoring for inappropriate content down to the page level“ said George Odysseos, Director of Publisher and Data at Tribal Fusion. “We are delighted to be full IASH members and look forward to being a strong voice within IASH, assisting its development and dealing with the challenges that lie ahead.”
Julia Smith, head of IASH said, “We are delighted to welcome Tribal Fusion UK as our latest newly accredited IASH Member. Tribal Fusion has worked hard to pass the stringent audit carried out by ABCe and they are now committed to adhering to the IASH Code of Conduct and protecting their clients’ brands.”
