RESTON, VA, March 10, 2010 – comScore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR) today released its monthly comScore qSearch analysis of the U.S. search marketplace. In February 2010, Americans conducted 14.5 billion core searches, with Google Sites accounting for 65.5 percent search market share.

Google Sites led the U.S. core search market in February with 65.5 percent of the searches conducted, followed by Yahoo! Sites (16.8 percent), and Microsoft Sites (11.5 percent). Ask Network captured 3.7 percent of the search market, followed by AOL LLC with 2.5 percent.

New York, N.Y., Feb. 10, 2010 - Experian Hitwise announced today that Google accounted for 71.49 percent of all U.S. searches conducted in the four weeks ending Jan. 31, 2010.
Yahoo! Search, Bing and Ask.com received 14.57 percent, 9.37 percent and 2.64 percent, respectively.
The remaining 65 search engines in the Hitwise Search Engine Analysis Tool accounted for 1.93 percent of U.S. searches.

In November 2009, Americans conducted 14.4 billion core searches, with Google Sites accounting for 65.6 percent search market share, up slightly from 65.4 percent in October. Microsoft Sites grabbed 10.3 percent market share, up 0.4 percentage points versus October.
