Sitecore Expands into Japanese Web CMS Market
Former Microsoft Senior Business Manager to Lead Sitecore Japan Office
Tokyo, Japan, February 25, 2010 – Sitecore, the leading provider of .NET Web Content Management System (CMS) software, today announced the establishment of a Japanese office, its first business base in the Asia region.
To lead the Japanese effort, Sitecore has hired Masayuki Katayama as President of Sitecore Japan. Mr. Katayama has worked in the IT industry for more than 20 years in both Japan and the United States, and has led a multi-cultural global business to success at his former position at Microsoft Corporation.
Sitecore provides CMS software, online marketing automation and analytics, intranet portal and other solutions in more than 40 countries. Sitecore’s flagship product, Sitecore CMS, is the leading enterprise Microsoft .NET based Web CMS, and it is currently used by more than 1,750 companies and government organizations including Lloyds of London, Mazda, Siemens, Toshiba, Manchester United F.C., and the United States Department of Defense.
