Silverpop Partners with ClickTale on Customer Behavior Tracking
Customers can improve ROI by optimizing Web site performance, improving visibility and increasing conversions
ATLANTA, Feb. 25, 2010-Silverpop, a provider of email marketing and marketing automation solutions specifically tailored to the unique needs of B2C and B2B marketers, has partnered with ClickTale, a provider of Customer Experience Analytics, to help customers more effectively track consumers' online behavior and better understand what engages them.
The partnership comes as marketers continue to shift more of their budgets toward interactive channels and the need for effective measurement tools continues to grow. A recent Silverpop survey found that four out of 10 marketers will increase their email budgets in 2010 and a May 2009 Forrester report indicated that U.S. businesses will spend $953 million dollars on Web analytics software in 2014.
ClickTale provides email marketers with a unique look at how recipients interact with links within email messages and subsequent activity on related landing pages. The service tracks site visitors' every mouse move, click and scroll and creates real-time movies of their entire browsing session. The company also provides visual heatmaps and other behavioral reports that aggregate thousands of browsing sessions to demonstrate what visitors are doing as a group, such as where they focus on the page, what engages them most and how far down they scroll. Through this partnership, Silverpop and ClickTale customers will be able to seamlessly integrate the two services.
"Silverpop recognizes that its customers are focused on optimizing performance and demonstrating ROI, so we partner with companies that make this possible in ways that are effective, efficient and unique," said Silverpop CEO Bill Nussey. "We are pleased to help our customers easily include their email marketing programs into their ClickTale reports, allowing for the delivery of the right message at the right time and the development of deeper and more relevant relationships with their customers."
"We are looking forward to offering Silverpop's extensive client base easy access to our unique optimization tools," said Tal Schwartz, co-founder and CEO of ClickTale. "These savvy email marketers understand the vital role effective analytics plays in a successful email marketing program. Now, they will be able to take behavioral analysis to a whole new level and obtain an incredibly clear understanding of what works and what does not."
