FlightStats and WhitePages Now Benefit from Real-Time Reporting, Tracking and Targeting Capabilities

NEW YORK -- Ringleader Digital, RLD, a mobile ad serving solution provider, today announced partnerships with FlightStats and WhitePages.

These mobile publishers have completed integration of RLD’s Spark Server, the world’s only mobile third-party ad server, Media Stamp™, the industry’s lone persistent, unique identifier integrated with leading agency buy side tools to enable online analytics in mobile, and RLD Network Manager, a mediation platform that dynamically maximizes revenue across multiple ad networks.

“Prior to working with Ringleader Digital, we lacked a mobile ad server, thus forcing us to undergo a tedious and unsustainable process of hardwiring our ad tags”

FlightStats and WhitePages look to Ringleader Digital’s technology to increase revenue on their mobile Web sites through optimal targeting, a high degree of integration with multiple networks, tracking and reporting capabilities similar to online.

“We’re pleased to be working with some of the top mobile publishers in the industry,” said Bob Walczak, CEO of Ringleader Digital. “By implementing the RLD Platform, FlightStats and WhitePages will benefit from advanced targeting capabilities to deliver relevant advertising that will be proven value to their mobile Web sites.”

FlightStats’ mobile site enables users to track individual flights, see flight status by route or by airport, view flight progress on a map, and save flights they need to track for quick and easy status updates. Airport information is also included that depicts current weather conditions, FAA delays for US airports and FlightStats departure delay indices for global airports. The FlightStats’ mobile site has experienced such significant consumer growth that it is outpacing its established online site.

By deploying Ringleader’s integrated suite of solutions, FlightStats gains integrated revenue management across their direct sales and remnant backfill network partners. A key driver for FlightStats was RLD Spark Server’s ability to leverage its unique location data enabling ads to be geo and time targeted based on a traveler’s itinerary.

“Prior to working with Ringleader Digital, we lacked a mobile ad server, thus forcing us to undergo a tedious and unsustainable process of hardwiring our ad tags,” said David White, vice president of FlightStats. “The ease of deployment and increased utility of Ringleader’s Spark Server, RLD Network Manager and Media Stamp will enable us to quickly increase fill rates while implementing the targeting and frequency capping that our advertising partners have grown accustomed to online.”

As the leading online destination for contact information, WhitePages offers a suite of mobile and Internet services that make it easy for people to find and connect immediately.

WhitePages’ iPhone, Android and BlackBerry applications have been downloaded more than five million times and combined with the company’s popular SMS Text Messaging service and m.whitepages.com mobile Web site, reach an active monthly audience of over two million users. WhitePages’ mobile advertisers, including McDonald’s and Jiffy Lube, benefit from unique geo and contextual targeting and rich media solutions that can be customized across each of the company’s mobile platforms.

With over four years of experience working with a mobile ad server, WhitePages chose to integrate with Ringleader to enhance its reporting, targeting and tracking capabilities. Ringleader’s Media Stamp technology, the equivalent of a “mobile cookie,” gives WhitePages the ability to track unique users and frequency cap on most devices across sessions. Another new offering that Ringleader provides for WhitePages is action tracking, a unique feature which allows its advertisers to track conversions on their Web sites and optimize their WhitePages plan more effectively.

“The continued success of WhitePages’ mobile advertising strategy hinges on our ability to provide advertisers with accurate, efficient targeting at scale and the best measurement tools on the market,” said Craig Paris, vice president of sales, WhitePages. “The implementation of Ringleader’s RLD Platform allows us to provide our clients with the mobile expertise needed – whether it is through targeting, delivery or reporting – to create effective advertising solutions for any of our mobile offerings.”

Ringleader exclusively licenses its RLD platform and solutions to publishers, ad networks, agencies, brands and analytics companies as either a bundled solution or on an à-la-carte basis. The platform is an established technology of scalable, licensable solutions that allows customers to identify, track and target mobile and new media users in real time. Every component of the RLD platform works with existing systems used for ad serving. As a result, mobile and new media users can do everything that is being done in the online world, without costly software investments or interoperability issues.
