Record Number of 2009 Informatica Innovation Awards Finalists Announced
Ninth Annual Awards Recognize Category Leaders Using Informatica Data Integration Platform to Drive Business Value
REDWOOD CITY, CA, May 14, 2009 -- Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA), the leading independent provider of data integration software and services, today announced the finalists in its 2009 Informatica Innovation Awards competition, recognizing organizations whose innovative uses of the Informatica Data Integration Platform illustrate the exemplary business value gained through broader data integration. Nine individual business and technology enablement category winners, eleven vertical industry winners and one overall award for “A Strategic Approach to Data Integration” winner, will be announced on June 2nd as part of Informatica’s virtual awards ceremony.
The 2009 finalists were selected from over 3,600 Informatica customers for their leadership and innovation in using the Informatica Data Integration Platform to drive competitive advantage and operational efficiencies in their organizations. Informatica executives and external judges including Mark Smith, CEO and founder, Ventana Research, and Bob Melk, SVP and publisher, CXO Media, will select the winners from a strong stable of finalists.
