PointRoll Improves Rich Media Analytics Reporting
PointRoll Collaborates with Microsoft's Atlas Team to Offer Advertisers More Flexible Media Reporting Options
NEW YORK, Nov. 11 -- PointRoll, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE:GCI) and the leading provider of rich media advertising, today became one of the first beta testers in Microsoft's Atlas Technology Partner Alliance (ATPA), which will allow advertisers and agencies to connect media management systems like PointRoll's to their current Atlas Media Console reporting system.
With an open and integrated approach to helping advertisers gain valuable insights through multiple reporting platforms - including web analytics companies such as Omniture, proprietary agency dashboards, and now Microsoft's Atlas analytics platform - PointRoll makes it easy for advertisers, agencies, and publishers to deliver creative, engaging, innovative and effective digital advertising.
PointRoll customers can now expand and improve their rich media capabilities with integrated data reporting in the Atlas Media Console, for the most efficient and effective campaigns possible. The ATPA enables PointRoll and Atlas to offer their advertisers the convenience of integrated PointRoll impression, clickthrough, and interaction rate data within the Atlas Media Console. With these new tools, advertisers can more easily leverage rich media to deliver the most creative online advertising, while gathering advanced analytics in their Atlas reports.
"This partnership helps PointRoll continue our commitment to provide advertisers and agencies with access to performance data in their selected dashboard and move beyond clickthrough to more easily tie rich media ad engagement data to conversions and ROI," said Jason Tafler, CEO of PointRoll. "PointRoll's flexible and open access approach helps marketers take advantage of our advanced creative and technology while eliminating many of the time consuming reporting barriers and manual work associated with combining data from multiple sources creating efficiencies and improving ad effectiveness."
By incorporating PointRoll's scalable rich media services into the ATPA, advertisers can leverage the best rich media creativity, interactivity, innovation and service without sacrificing reporting and analytics, or incurring additional manual work.
