Viral Ad Network
Much as the name implies, Viral Ad Network is a viral ad network. The goal of a viral ad network is to "seed" online ad campaigns cleverly disguised as amusing videos, little Flash games and the like, on entertainment and other websites in the hope that visitors will find the amusing video or game sufficiently amusing to forward to their friends, post on social networking sites such as Digg and Reddit, and otherwise redistribute for free. The holy grail of a viral ad is to see it "go viral", i.e. to acquire sufficient momentum that it spiral off on its own self-propelled trajectory, potentially reaching millions of users.
Viral Ad Network pays publishers on various scales, for both more-or-less generic syndicated run-of-network content and managed insertions specifically targeting specific website.
Payments are relatively low, but Viral Ad Network offerings can provide a decent source of ancillary income.
Largely UK-targeted, like Unruly Media, but some broader reach including the occasional US insertion.
Side note, at the time of publishing they were using some odd ice cream truck as their logo and ice cream stands to promote their publishers section. What the hell!?!
