AlmondNet is an Internet ad network specializing in paid search ads. Appears to use some form of behavioral targeting technology. NAI member.

More information about them, from the website:

We partner with data-owners and media-owners to provide consumers with relevant, privacy-sensitive, Post-Search ™ ads - wherever they go!

Consumers see relevant, privacy-sensitive ads, wherever they go

Data-Owners that own non personally-identifiable consumer purchase-intent data acquire an incremental revenue stream from the behavior of their audience, wherever the audience goes

Sounds like an interesting concept, although I also feel like reporting them as stalkers to the appropriate authorities. Sort of a Mary Had a Little Lamb situation. Everywhere I go, they go, anyone goes, the damn ads were sure to go. And I strongly doubt the purity of their fleece. But that's the consumer in me talking. From a web advertiser or web publisher standpoint, sounds pretty golden. (Golden. As in the Golden Fleece. Get the reference? See the continuity? Subtle, wasn't it? Pfft. Pearls before swine.)
