Leading social-mapping service able to reach consumers with coupons from local merchants

CHICAGO, Nov. 17 -- NAVTEQ, a provider of digital map, traffic and location data for in-vehicle, portable, wireless and enterprise solutions, today announced its selection by Loopt® to enable its social-mapping service with NAVTEQ LocationPoint(TM) Advertising services to help consumers take advantage of coupons from local merchants.

NAVTEQ LocationPoint(TM) Advertising enables Loopt to provide consumers with highly targeted and relevant offers and promotions in a mobile environment when and where consumers are making shopping and purchasing decisions.
