The IAS Media Marketplace is carefully designed to connect web publishers with online advertisers. This searchable, sortable database of commercial websites with available advertising inventory allows advertisers to quickly identify websites that match their target audience and demographic needs, desired traffic levels, media requirements and budget, and conveniently get in touch with site owners to request more information or a quote. The IAS Media Marketplace is not an advertising network, in that we do not negotiate deals or handle ad serving or payment processing. Rather, we simply strive to place a diverse spectrum of independent publisher inventory in front of advertiser eyeballs in an uniquely efficient and user-friendly manner. Internet Ad Sales does not charge any commission for advertising inventory purchases made through the IAS Media Marketplace.

Advertisers may begin browsing the IAS Media Marketplace immediately. Search and sort through the categorized listings, view site detail pages for complete information, and visit sites to make an informed judgement on whether your product or service would be a good match. Registered advertisers may contact site owners with questions or to propose terms directly through the Internet Ad Sales private messaging system.

Publishers may post their detailed site information quickly and easily. To begin, register as a member of Internet Ad Sales, then visit the Submit Site area. For best results, fill in as much information you have available, including traffic levels, CPM rates, available rich media formats, and the demographic profile of your visitors. You may include an extensive, formatted site description with which you can expand the available information well beyond the pre-defined fields. If your site is accepted, you may return as often as you like to modify your online media kit and keep your profile current. Should your site be accepted, Internet Ad Sales will take a screenshot of your home page as quickly as possible to complement your IAS Media Marketplace online media kit. Internet Ad Sales may edit your description and/or move your site to a more appropriate category if necessary. As the IAS Media Marketplace grows, additional levels of granularity will be added to the category structure.

There is no charge for advertisers to access the IAS Media Marketplace.

During our rollout and beta-testing phase, all new publishers whose sites are accepted will benefit from a permanent listing at no charge whatsoever. Following the testing and rollout phase, there will be a low annual flat fee (not percentage-based) for listing. Sites that have been added prior to the launch of the paid listing service, however, will never incur a charge for their listing, so be among the first and get your permanent listing for free!

To maximize revenue, we recommend that you complement your listing in the IAS Media Marketplace by joining or advertising through an online advertising network, such as Fastclick or Casale Media. Many advertisers prefer to make broad buys across a category or entire network for branding campaigns, and to use site-specific buys such as those enabled by the IAS Media Marketplace for specific product or service-centric campaigns. We reserve the right to reject any site for any reason. Sites that display or contain links to pornography, wares, hacks, illegal MP3 files, copyrighted material used without permission, hate speech, etc., will be refused admission to the marketplace. Sites may also be de-listed at any time at the discretion of Internet Ad Sales.
