IRVINE, CA, January 14, 2010 — Local.com Corporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), a local search site and network, today announced the launch of the company’s new Events site and Red Carpet Evening at the Oscars® Giveaway.

Local.com’s new Events site (http://events.local.com/) features the latest information on local events and allows users to search for events by category, including concerts, conferences, festivals, galleries, food and wine, recreation, sports, theatre, museums, literary and more. The site offers users the ability to filter events by popularity, date, event title, relevance and venue name. Comprehensive event details are also provided, including address, directions, a link to additional event details and the ability to find tickets, if available.

To kick off the new Events site, the company also launched the Red Carpet Evening at the Oscars® Giveaway.
