Winners include top ranked local businesses in 15 cities and 20 categories

IRVINE, CA, December 16, 2009 — Local.com Corporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), a local search site and network, today announced the winners of its 2009 “Best of Local” awards program.

The annual “Best of Local” program features the best businesses as rated by consumers in 15 cities and 20 categories across the U.S. Businesses were ranked based on the quantity and quality of the reviews that had been submitted about their business on Local.com.

The official 2009 “Best of Local” cities included Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco and Washington D.C. “Best of Local” 2009 winners in each city have been posted to the official “Best of Local” winner’s page at: http://bestof.local.com/winners/2009.asp.

Local.com ratings and reviews allows users to rate and review any business listing that appears on the site. Local.com gives users the ability to enter comments, rate a business using a five-star rating system and view all of the reviews they have previously submitted. Ratings and reviews entered on the site appear on business listing profile pages, subject to a user validation process.
