EyeWonder Launches Rich Media Campaign Using Facebook Connect

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment partners with EyeWonder and Moxie Interactive

ATLANTA -- NOVEMBER 12, 2009 -- EyeWonder, Inc., an innovator in interactive digital advertising technologies and services, today announced Fox Home Entertainment and Moxie Interactive are the first to use Facebook Connect in rich media banner ads promoting the release of Fight Club on Blu-ray.

Through the ads, users can seamlessly log in to their Facebook account, inserting them into a Fight Club Mayhem video directly within the rich media banner.

When users connect to their Facebook accounts through the user-initiated expandable ads, the Mayhem video pulls in photos and personal profile information, which in turn becomes integrated into the featured video playing in the ads. In addition to “becoming part of the mayhem”, viewers can also grab two different widgets—one dedicated to the Fight Club experience, the other containing information about all Fox’s Blu-ray releases.

“Fight Club is a distinctive experience, and for the 10-year anniversary we wanted to embrace the culture that has been created around it,” said Mary Daily, EVP Marketing Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. “To coincide with Fight Club’s first release on Blu-ray, we are inviting the fans into the experience by bringing a little of Tyler Durden into their lives using this new innovative Facebook integration."
