Canadian broadcasters sign on in record numbers.

NEEDHAM, MA, May 12, 2010 – Extreme Reach, Inc., a provider of digital video advertising solutions, announced today that its video advertising platform now digitally connects advertisers to more than 4000 TV stations and networks across North America.

Indication of critical mass
The number 4000 is an important membership benchmark that signifies that the company’s digital network has reached critical mass for North American TV ad delivery. The size and scalability of the digital network is an important consideration for TV advertisers who require broad, expeditious distribution of their television commercials. By surpassing the 4000 milestone, Extreme Reach has created a network through which the vast majority of their commercial deliveries are distributed electronically to the media companies that air them.

Indicator of growth and momentum
The milestone is also an indicator of the company’s momentum in the commercial delivery market. No other company has been able to create a digital network of such magnitude without acquiring numerous network affiliates through mergers and acquisitions. Broadcast destinations have joined the Extreme Reach network at a rate unmatched by any other ad distribution company, as well. Extreme Reach attributes its network momentum to its growing roster of national advertisers and the array of capabilities enabled by the company’s integrated ad management solution for broadcasters.

Rapid expansion across Canada
In late January, Extreme Reach announced the launch of Extreme Reach Canada, a new Canadian commercial delivery service, offered through partnership, with The Canadian Press. Since the announcement, hundreds of Canadian broadcast destinations have signed on to the Extreme Reach Canada network. The size and growth of the Extreme Reach Canada network has quickly surpassed those of other delivery networks.

“We’re very pleased with the momentum we’re seeing across Canada. Over the course of only three months, Extreme Reach Canada has become the largest Canadian-operated pure-digital ad distribution network for both SD and HD TV advertising,” commented Terry Scott, Director of Broadcasting at The Canadian Press. “The rapid establishment of our digital network enables Canadian TV advertisers to distribute both SD and HD TV commercials with unmatched scale and speed.”

World’s largest HD ad delivery network
More than one out of every three Extreme Reach TV broadcast members are now receiving their HD advertisements electronically through the Extreme Reach pure-digital ad delivery network. The company’s unique pure-digital delivery model enables broadcasters to automate several operational processes and provide assurance to advertisers that their high definition commercials will meet the highest quality standards when aired. As a result, the Extreme Reach network of HD television affiliates has become the world’s largest for HD commercial delivery and continues to grow at a rapid rate. Several hundred new HD members have joined the network in the last three months.
