Endeca Co-Founder and Chief Scientist to Present in UIE Virtual Seminar on Faceted Search

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., August 17, 2009 -- Endeca Technologies, Inc., a search applications company, announced today that Co-Founder Pete Bell and Chief Scientist, Daniel Tunkelang, will give the UIE Seminar, Faceted Search: Designing Your Content, Navigation, and User Interface on Thursday, August 20.

Pete Bell, co-founder of Endeca, has more than ten years of experience designing faceted search systems for more than 600 companies. Bell writes and speaks frequently about information science at venues including the annual Search Engine Meeting, Simmons Graduate School of Library and Information Science, the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative conference, and the Boston Museum of Science.

As Chief Scientist at Endeca, Daniel Tunkelang is a recognized industry advocate for a dialog-oriented and exploratory approach to search.
