Emailvision Attains 35% Revenue Growth In 2009
2009 Revenues reached €29.3 million and Backlog increased of 55%
01/20/2010 -- Emailvision continued its sales growth throughout 2009. For the full year, revenues increased by 35%, reaching €29.3 million (a year on year increase of 38% at constant exchange rates).
In 2009, Emailvision strengthened its European market leadership and won 35 new clients in the USA.
Emailvision’s international expansion continued during the year with the opening of two new subsidiaries (Sweden & Italy) in addition to those opened in 2008 (USA, Spain, Netherlands & Switzerland). New countries contributed significantly to growth and international sales now represent half of Group revenues. Emailvision is now present in 10 countries, ending the year with 213 staff compared to 146 at the end of 2008.
Client churn (in value) remained stable at 5% compared to 2008. This demonstrates the high level of loyalty of the Emailvision client base.
Throughout the year, Emailvision serviced 2,000 clients and 4,500 users with its pioneering software service, Campaign Commander™. The company delivered a record 24 billion email messages.
2010 outlook: acceleration of international market share and technology investments
Backlog as at 31 December was €39.4 million, representing a year on year increase of 55%. This increase was driven by the growth in the sales force and an increase in the average contract duration (increasing during the year from 28 to 32 months). This growing backlog provides good visibility on future revenues, with €17.9 million of the total to be recognised in 2010 and €11.1 million in 2011.
Emailvision plans to continue its strategy of market share growth across Europe and in the USA. To support this growth, the Group plans to recruit over 100 new staff in 2010, including 30 field sales managers and 15 IT engineers.
