Basic Content Manager allows you to administrate some predefined sections of each page (edit text, add images and modify menus) saving money over paying a developer. The basic version does not allow for the addition of new pages or editing of the complete content of the pages - only the information contained in predefined editable blocks can be administrated.

The Professional Content Manager version provides the freedom to administrate text, add images, delete and create new pages, and add, modify and delete menus. This tool allows for the administration of everything but the fundamental site structure ensuring the layout remains consistent throughout the site.

Seems kinda unwieldy, but that's a matter of taste.
