CastUP Video Delivery Solution for the iPhone

Solution includes encoding, distribution, dedicated video application (optional) and customer support for high quality content delivery

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL – January 12, 2009 – CastUP, a leading developer of IP streaming media products and Content Distribution Networking (CDN) systems, today announced the launch of its end-to-end video delivery solution for the iPhone.

The new solution from CastUP provides the framework for high quality video content to be delivered to the iPhone via multiple delivery mechanisms including live broadcast, and video on demand (VOD) using either streaming, or progressive download (PDL) – ensuring the most cost-effective delivery method for the consumer. To maintain a consistent high quality user experience in variable network conditions, content can be delivered to the device using adaptive streaming technology (over WiFi and 3G).

In implementing the CastUP offering, broadcasters, operators and enterprises can benefit from an end-to-end solution that includes encryption and delivery technology, the option of a dedicated video application and customer support.
