AudienceScience Promotes Dan Hurwitz to Vice President of Sales, East

New York -- November 11, 2009 -- AudienceScience, the leading provider of audience targeted advertising technology and solutions for digital media, announced today the promotion of Dan Hurwitz to vice president of Sales, East. Hurwitz’s responsibilities include the management and oversight of east coast sales to foster the advancement of strategic advertiser partnerships.

An industry veteran, Hurwitz broke into the Internet business in 1995 selling advertisements for technology publisher CMP Media. With eight years of sales management experience with companies including AOL, NBCinternet and About.com, Hurwitz has co-managed the east coast sales team for AOL and was named director of advertising sales and marketing solutions for XM Satellite Radio.

In 2007, Hurwitz joined the AudienceScience east coast team as director of sales, where he was responsible for managing all direct sales efforts related to expanding the AudienceScience advertiser network. After 16 years in the online advertising industry, Hurwitz is focused on helping advertisers understand how the right content, data and technology can optimize a brand’s marketing efforts.
