2009 Adobe MAX Awards Winners Announced
Eight Category Winners Receive Awards, Representing Industries and Regions Worldwide
October 07, 2009 -- SAN JOSE, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced the winners of the 2009 MAX Awards. The winners received their awards last night at MAX 2009 in Los Angeles in a ceremony hosted by actor Mark Hamill. Now in its seventh year, the MAX Awards is a global program highlighting innovative uses of Adobe software and technology across a range of applications, from enterprise applications and customer-facing services to rich-media entertainment and social networking.
In this year’s competition, more than 450 entries were received from business, creative and application development professionals worldwide. The top 32 entries across all eight categories were identified as finalists by a panel of Adobe judges and industry experts. In an online voting event open from Sept. 28, 2009 through Oct. 6, 2009, the public voted for their favorite finalists.
